Pronoun

A pronoun is a little stand-in word (I, you, she, they) that refers to someone or something without naming them.

OVP's pronouns are where you first meet its habit of marking distance: mahu is "he/she/it" nearby, uhu is "he/she/it" far or out of sight. Subject pronouns like nüü ("I") stand alone, while object/possessive forms attach to a word as prefixes.
